Cabinets: Star of both kitchen and bathrooms
It's the first thing people see and they set the atmosphere for the entire room. Cabinets serve an important function by keeping us organized and minimizing clutter. Stock, factory-made, and mass-produced with standard colors, styles, and sizes; semi-stock, basically stock, but there's a little room for you to make changes. Custom cabinets are top-of-the-line and no-holds-barred items. A designer draws plans and skilled craftsmen build them. Building cabinets is one of our specialties.
Window treatments and accessories
Sometimes the window is done as an afterthought, but they also serve an important purpose. Not only do they make the room look great, but they protect the floor and fabrics from sun UV damage which can cause fading. Window treatments can be motorized so you can even control them when you aren’t home.
People also forget about lighting, especially in the bathroom. Ideally, you'd have plenty of natural light, augmented with overhead light. Task lighting, such as floor and desk lamps, increase light for specific tasks when there's already some ambient lighting.

Backsplashes: added drama, focal points
Tile is still the preferred material for creating backsplashes. Now we see dramatic designs that span floor-to-ceiling areas and wrap-around counters and open shelves. This creates a focal point and sets the tone, whether your vision is for e quiet and serene room or bold and vibrant one.
