In 1998 I, Dan Rivas, began a floor service company and got the name Aptiva interior solutions in order to work for lowes and the home depot. Soon after I enlisted the help of a childhood friend, Johnny, to start this endeavor with me. We had wonderful 5 year run with the home depot, we met a lot of people, did a lot of different work and learned the in’s and out’s of a big box store. John and I went on to work with a couple of different companies for 2 years, when I approached him again to help with running a retail flooring store along with my brother Frank in New Braunsfels. This proved to be much more difficult than I anticipated, so we moved to Luling and recently Gonzales and decided to set ourselves apart from the pack, we did our best to offer great service at a good price. We did not care to be the guys that offered crazy low prices or blurt out promises that we could not keep. We wanted to be the guys you could count on, the guys you could trust to keep promises and the guys that would be around to fix any problems that would arise.
